Truly a breakthrough for me, making this work was the culmination of a very long process of experimentation with molds, casting, carving, and planning.

The coelacanth is a remarkable animal, a “living fossil” that was found in the fossil record from millions of years ago and we believed that they went extinct, only to be surprised when a living specimen was found. The discovery has changed our understanding of the universe.
